Columns & Pillars
Our GRP columns and pillars are manufactured to be strong and lightweight, making them easy to install and handle. Our pillars and columns are available as plain or fluted designs in white, light oak, brown, rosewood or anthracite grey. They are can be combined with our selection of canopies to create porticos and porches for decorative appeal but also as a load bearing structure by filling the columns with steel rods and concrete. Manufactured from strong ridged fiberglass these items are light and easy to handle.
The columns and pillars are easy to install, the height can be altered using a fine tooth saw and adding column packers. Other than washing, they will give many years of trouble free service and come with a 10 Year Guarantee against manufacturing defects.
Additional load strength can be added to columns by installing steel rods and filling with concrete as required. Designed for fast easy installation simply trim the box for varying length using a fine tooth hand saw or disc grinder.
Plain Column
Lightweight column with smooth finish used for porches, porticos & canopies. Easy install available in a choice of colours.
Fluted Column
Traditional moulded GRP column with fluted design. Available with as full or half-round profile easy to install and alter height.
Edwardian Pillars
Smooth satin finish wrap around pillars for use with our Edwardian & Victorian Porticos to add width to entrances.
Column Packer
Designed to increase height at the top or bottom of our GRP columns. Suitable for plain and fluted columns.
